Listen here, only because I'm kinda in the same predicament and situation and bullshit you're going through, I'm just gonna keep it real. I do like New Wave and some folk and country and alternative and grunge stuff, but I do prefer R&B/Soul/Disco/Jazz/Hip Hop-Rap/Urban etc. I'm more of a black Richard Simmons, 1960s/1970s hippie, with an afro, and yeah. It's "Grassroot/Monkey Tornado", and my avatar is the black Charlie Brown/Franklin from Peanuts) I'm not into the whole goth and punk rock and glam rock, hair rock and aesthetic thing and metal music thing like you. I have a youtube channel with several subscribers as well. I know your Youtube channel, where you have quite a big moderate amount of subs [I'm not exposing you, your channel name is your Reddit name. I'm in LA/California) it's almost like as if I'm making this post myself (I also kinda know you outside of Reddit, sorta lol.

Only because, I see kinda myself in you a bit, and we are both weird or different gay black men, and we are also the same age, (29/30), we are both feminine/flamboyant/slightly gender non conforming, or gender free spirited (especially being black man, etc.) I also kinda am near the same area as you (I believe you are in the Vegas/Nevada area. I was wondering if any other black guys feel this way or have felt this way and how something like this could play into why some may prefer non black men. Again, it's not that I'm not into black gyluys, I watch quite a few black men who do fit the look I like though I've observed they seem to be more into non black guys themselves. I think I hypothesize that the reason why I tend to be drawn to more Hispanic and White guys is because they tend to be more into the things I'm into like rock music and the alternative scene (including personal style, I love the band tee + jeans look for instance lol).

And in my case of being into muscular guys primarily, I noticed that a lot of Black guys where I live with the exception of a new mainly focus on being hyper defined and chiseled (and neglecting their legs at that) and I'm more into the bulky muscle look overall, not so much into the physique model look. I'm not into the urban style nor am I into the music a lot of black men tend to like which is usually rap and hip hop.

It does lead to complications naturally because all non black races who don't have the fetish are usually not attracted to Black men anyway.īut explaining myself, it's not that Im not attracted to other Black men, I definitely can be but a lot of the time locally, a lot of the black gay men around me are not my type.

It's a given that Black is considered the least attractive viewed race in the gay dating scene outside of the usual racial stereotype of the BBC top and even then, it's just a fetish, not genuine attraction anyway. I'm wanting to hear specifically from Black Gay/Bi men who tend to not be as drawn to other Black men. This is something that I have wondered about for a good while now when I started taking notice of what kind of guys tend to catch my interest and how most of the guys I find myself leaning towards are not other Black guys. So I'm directing this question to only other Black Gay and Bisexual Men.
